5.6 Storage Fees - Completed projects not accepted for delivery within ten (10) days of notification may be subject to storage charges of $10.00 per day, with a minimum charge of $50.00. Additional storage charges may apply depending on project size.

5.8 If any project invoices remain unpaid, Kingsbrook Kitchens reserves the right to decline service calls or require a service fee, payable in full before the service visit.
6. PRODUCTION
6.1 Commencement of Production
Production will begin only after all of the following have been completed:
-
Final drawings have been approved in writing;
-
The required deposit has been received;
-
All material and finish selections have been finalized;
-
Any customer-supplied materials (if applicable) have been received and approved.
Lead times commence only after all of the above conditions have been satisfied. This approach is consistent with common custom cabinetry contracts, where production is tied to final approvals rather than the estimate date.
6.2 Estimated Lead Times - Unless otherwise agreed in writing, production is estimated at six (6) to eight (8) weeks from final drawing approval and receipt of the required deposit. Lead times are estimates only and may be affected by:
-
Supplier delays

-
Additional labour charges;
-
Additional material costs;
-
Replacement of completed components;
-
Revised completion dates.
Kingsbrook Kitchens reserves the right to determine whether requested changes can reasonably be accommodated after production has begun.
6.4 Outsourcing - Kingsbrook Kitchens reserves the right to outsource or subcontract a project or portion of a project to qualified manufacturers, suppliers or installers where necessary. Such subcontracting shall not reduce Kingsbrook Kitchens' responsibility for the quality of the completed project.

The Client is responsible for ensuring the project site is ready prior to delivery and installation.
The installation area shall be free from:
-
Existing cabinetry
-
Appliances
-
Furniture
-
Construction debris
-
Personal belongings
-
Any obstruction that may interfere with installation
7.2 Safe Access - The Client shall provide safe, unobstructed access for delivery and installation personnel.
If access is restricted or unsafe, Kingsbrook Kitchens reserves the right to postpone delivery or installation until the site is ready.
Additional labour, travel or rescheduling charges may apply.
7.3 Floor Protection - Protection of existing flooring throughout the installation area and all access routes remains the responsibility of the Client or General Contractor. Kingsbrook Kitchens is not responsible for damage resulting from inadequate floor protection.
7.4 Plumbing - Prior to installation, plumbing supply and drain lines should be capped as close to the finished wall as reasonably possible.
Kingsbrook Kitchens shall not be responsible for oversized cabinet cut-outs resulting from improperly located plumbing.

8.3. Inspection and Approval Prior to Delivery - Kingsbrook Kitchens reserves the right to require the Client to attend a shop visit to inspect and approve the colour, materials, finish and other applicable project details before shipping, delivery or installation. Where requested, written sign-off must be received before the project is released. Delays in inspection or approval may affect the delivery and installation schedule.
8.4 Site Delays
If the site is not ready on the scheduled delivery or installation date, Kingsbrook Kitchens reserves the right to charge additional fees including:
-
Storage
-
Return delivery
-
Waiting time
-

Installation will be completed once the project is ready and scheduling permits.
9. DELIVERY, FREIGHT & SHIPPING
9.1 Freight - Where Kingsbrook Kitchens arranges transportation, freight charges shall be invoiced as indicated within the quotation.

9.3 Inspection Upon Delivery - The Client shall inspect all products immediately upon delivery.
Visible freight damage or shortages must be noted before acceptance of the shipment and reported promptly with photographs.
Failure to inspect upon delivery constitutes acceptance of the shipment. Similar inspection and documentation provisions are common in cabinetry sales because they help distinguish shipping damage from manufacturing defects.
9.4 Storage - Projects not accepted within ten (10) days following notification of completion may be subject to storage fees as outlined in Section 5.
10. CUSTOMER SUPPLIED MATERIALS (COM)
Where the Client supplies fabric, leather, hardware, accessories or other materials:
